Tom Rice and Sonya Mount have been honoured with King Charles III Coronation Medals.
Both were given their medals during a ceremony at the YMCA Health, Fitness and Aquatics facility in Owen Sound.
The YMCA”s Capital Campaign for the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre was led by Tom and Sonya, raising $6.3 million going well beyond the fundraising goal.
The ceremony also highlighted the journey of the campaign which also hit a milestone in July last year when the YMCA and City of Owen Sound signed a new 20 year operational agreement.
