Tonnes of fresh produce being donated to North Huron Food Share

It was a pretty successful year for the Wingham Community Garden.

A total of 390 peaches, or 62 pounds were harvested.

In total volunteers harvested 1540 pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables and delivered it all to the North Huron Food Share to distribute across the community.

The group thanks the volunteers who spent their time from starting with seeds to regular care of the garden.

The Maitland Community Church provides use of the land for the garden.
