Two Hanover Physicians Celebrated in Local Rural Medicine

The Hanover and District Hospital is celebrating two physicians who have made their mark in local rural medicine.

Dr. Rochelle Dworkin, a former physician at the Hanover and District Hospital received the SRPC Lifetime Member Award for her longstanding dedication and lasting contributions while Dr. Tim Heerema, a current member of the medical staff was given the Fellowship of Rural and Remote Medicine.

This award, given by the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada recognizes his sustained excellence, leadership and service in rural practice.

The hospital says these achievements highlight both the ongoing impact and enduring legacy of physicians connected to the hospital.
