Unifor members voted to ratify a new 3-year-collective agreement over the weekend with Ford of Canada.
The agreement covers the over 5,600 workers at Ford facilities in Canada and was approved with 54% voting in favour.
The highlights of the agreement sees workers with 1-year seniority move from $25.75 per hour to $46.13 by the end of the agreement.
The almost 80% wage increase is in addition to a $10,000 bonus.
Base wages are also set to increase 20% for production and 25% for trades.
The starting pay for temporary workers is also increasing to $29.67.
The new contract expires on September 20th, 2026.
