The location, which currently remains at the St Pauls Trinity Anglican Church on John St. is seeing some push back from nearby residents who cited concern of a lack of police presence in town.
Nearby citizens voiced concerns to council saying they wished United Way had discussed with them first about the location.
Reeve Bernie Bailey says it wasn’t due to United Way not wanting to speak to anyone but a slip up from an employee.
United Way still intends on accepting public feedback with council also planning to monitor the situation.
