As school has been back for about a month, United Way Bruce Grey is highlighting the issues locally when it comes to needing back to school support.
United Way says 1 in 10 local students need that level of support and the call has been answered by the public with donations, volunteers, schools and community agencies across Bruce and Grey coming forward.
The Backpack Program saw 2460 students start the year with the supplies they needed spanning from primary all the way to high school.
United Way has extended their thanks to the public who did their part in this years program.
