United Way Bruce Grey is welcoming Alfreen Rahman as the newest Coordinator of its Backpack Program, just as registration opens up.
The program helps those within Bruce and Grey Counties under low income to receive a backpack full of school goods for their kids.
Rahman recently joined United Way, bringing in a passion for helping others and building strong community connections.
Rahman says she looks forward to connecting with families, volunteers, schools and community partners to make sure every child has the tools they need to succeed.
Registration for the program is open until August 24th.
