Unvaccinated staff at Grey Bruce Health Services hospitals face termination under new policy

Grey Bruce Health Services have officially made it mandatory for staff at their hospitals to be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 or face termination.

 

The changes took effect on Monday.

 

In a news release, they say 96 percent of staff and 99 percent of physicians are fully vaccinated.

 

Currently, those who are partly or unvaccinated are placed on administrative leave.

 

They say anyone who does not comply after December 3rd will no longer be employed at any of their hospitals including the Southampton hospital.
