There are two events being planned, one is on April 30th where volunteers will plant up to 1,000 trees along the shoreline.
The other is on June 11th where they will be removing invasive species along the beach.
Coastal Restoration Technician Holly Westbrook says the removal of invasive species is a difficult process but staff will be showing the volunteers some techniques to remove them safely.
Westbrook says once they identify the species, they order the trees, and the volunteers would go out and plant them.
Those interested in volunteering for the event or for more information can go to the Lake Huron Coastal Centre website.
