The Walk for Courage is making its return with the Canadian Mental Health Association of Grey Bruce.
After raising over $48,000 last year, the Walk for Courage is celebrating 5 years this July.
Participants can take part in person in Hanover, Owen Sound or virtually making it easier for people across the region to get involved.
The walk was started by the Courage family in memory of Jeff Courage who passed away by suicide in 2019.
What started as a way to honour Jeff’s life, it has grown into an annual event bringing people together while raising awareness and funds for local mental health services.
To kick things off, organizers are launching the early bird incentive with those who sign up before May 12th being entered win for a pair of Toronto Blue Jays tickets for the June 5th game.
