The Walkerton Clean Water Centre has released its annual report for 2022-23.
The centre saw another big year which developed and delivered a set of mandatory and specialized courses to nearly 8000 participants.
These courses included in person, correspondence and virtual which allowed those across Ontario to study at their own space.
The centre also continued support for First Nation communities to improve drinking water with 20 course sessions delivered to provide specific information and skills to help optimize drinking water systems in First Nations Communities.
Courses were also provided to course participants, post secondary and high school students to share more about equipment and operations needed to ensure drinking water is safe.
