Applications are now open for the Walkerton Clean Water Legacy award.
The Municipality of Brockton is once again offering a $1500 scholarship in partnership with the Community Foundation of Grey Bruce for students who are studying post secondary education in environmental science, clean water management or related fields.
The award creates a lasting legacy of the Walkerton water tragedy of 2000.
The award honours those affected by the water crisis and supports the next generation of students committed to environmental stewardship and the protection of clean water.
Applications are open until May 31st.
