Feedback will be accepted until next week as the Municipality of Grey Highlands develops a Long Term Waste Management Plan.
The plan will guide staff to better build on how waste will be reduced, diverted and managed over the coming decades.
The project will look over a comprehensive review of the current waste system, analysis of future needs and the evaluation of waste management options using technical, environmental, social and financial criteria.
The final plan will provide clear and practical recommendations and a road map to support sustainable and a cost effective waste management system for the future.
Feedback is being accepted until May 7th.
