The Western Ontario Wardens Caucus has returned from Ottawa from the annual Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference.
The caucus put a focus on housing, infrastructure, workforce development and mental health and addictions.
During the conference the caucus met with David Piccini, the Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, Rob Flack, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and Parliamentary Assistants, Steve Pinsoneault and Bob Bailey with the Ministry of Rural Affairs.
Kevin Marriott, Vice Chair of the WOWC says their meetings were a valuable opportunity to highlight how Western Ontario is powering Ontario’s economic engine.
