Winter Sweeping Once Again in Midwestern Ontario

Winter Sweeping Once Again in Midwestern Ontario

While spring is just days away, Mother Nature is reminding Midwestern Ontario it’s still winter with as much as 20-40cm of snowfall on the way.

An orange warning snow squall is in effect across the area with snowfall expected to start later tonight and last into Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will start to fall sharply as the day goes on with snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian bay being accompanied by westerly to northwesterly winds gusting to 70-90km/hr.

Travel could be extremely hazardous and visibility could be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
