WOAA Senior Hockey League playoffs start this weekend

Weather permitting, the WOAA Senior Hockey League playoffs will begin tonight with four games across the region.

In AA action, the number-one-seed Seaforth Centenaries will start their title defence with a visit to the Durham Thundercats.

Seaforth finished the season a staggering 17-1-1-1, six points up on Ripley.

The Wolves will host the Petrolia Squires at the local arena in a two-seven seed matchup.

The third-seed Saugeen Shores Winterhawks will open up their series against the Creemore Coyotes at the Port Elgin Plex.

The A loop will start with just one game on Friday, when the Lucknow Lancers visit the Shallow Lake Crushers.

All game start at 8:30 p.m.
