It was another successful round of Women in Construction in Huron-Kinloss.
The recent round closed with a shed built for the township and an emPOWERing electrical workshop.
The Women in Construction program done in part with Habitat for Humanity Grey-Bruce allows participants to work on new skills on site and to the Adult Learning Centre for academic upgrading opportunities.
The past year of the program saw workshops be introduced to provide experiences for 60 local women and allow them to explore the trades and get valuable certifications.
