Women’s House Holding Vigil for Victims of Ecole Politechnique Tragedy on Monday

The Women’s House Serving Bruce & Grey is holding an Evening Vigil on Monday to remember the 14 women who were murdered at Ecole Politechnique in Montreal in 1989 along with other women murdered each year by their intimate partners.

The format of the event being held at Kincardine United Church is come and go and is running Monday from 7 until 9 pm.

The event also aims to teach women about issues of control, of abuse and of trying to escape.
