But Mayor John Grace warns there is still a lot of work to do before it returns to its former beauty.
The Town has been working on rehabilitating the waterfront since a storm in October of 2019 caused severe shoreline erosion and deterioration of the boardwalk.
Grace says the focus will be on other areas of the waterfront.
Grace says there is also work on bringing vendors and businesses to the waterfront area and Council is expected to receive a report in the new year.
