It teaches participants what it takes to manage your own business and receive up to $3,000 in start-up funds through the summer.
The criteria to be eligible include being a student aged 15 to 29 (as of April 30, 2022), starting a new business, attending and returning to school in the fall (either full or part-time, to high school or post-secondary), a resident of Ontario, Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and not working at another job or attending school for more than 12 hours per week during the program.
The program has a minimum of 280 hours of work during the summer for high school and 420 hours if you are a post-secondary student.
