The 100 Women Who Care Grey/Bruce met last last month and heard from the Break Bread Community Meals group.
At the end of the event the group were presented with a donation of $21,800 from 100 Women Who Care.
Break Bread Community Meals prepares meals every Thursday by volunteers and shares them from the basement of the Chesley Baptist Church.
They provide them to anyone who would benefit nutritionally, financially, emotionally or socially.
The mission of the group is to serve others in a compassionate and inclusive way where they have a need.
They serve over 200 take-away and eat-in meals each week.
