$103,000 Invested in South Huron for Innovative Programming

The province is providing funding for South Huron and Southampton Arts to get better access to programs, services and spaces across Huron-Bruce.

The $103,000 investment from the Ontario Trillium Foundation seed grant stream.

This will will see South Huron get an $89,900 share over 12 months to recruit a Recreation Coordinator to create programs, promote physical activity and more while Southampton Arts will get $13,200 to deliver the Maker’s Table, a craft workshop series to promote creativity, learning and connection.

Huron-Bruce MPP, Lisa Thompson says these efforts will inspire engagement, foster creativity and contribute to the wellbeing of people throughout our communities.
