$14 Million Invested Into Local Infrastructure Projects

Funding to support local infrastructure projects is on the way with $14 million being invested.

MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Rick Byers announced the funding will help renew and rehabilitate critical infrastructure projects across the area.

The funding totals $400 million in the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund in 425 small, rural and northern communities for critical infrastructure projects including road, bridge, water and wastewater projects.

Local municipalities are to receive the following:

$ 3,309,832 – County of Grey

$    880,588 – Arran-Elderslie

$    367,115 – Chatsworth

$    354,837 – Georgian Bluffs

$    640,199 – Grey Highlands

$    498,128 – Hanover

$ 1,317,063 – Meaford

$    294,773 – Northern Bruce Peninsula

$ 2,883,672 – Owen Sound

$    700,912 – South Bruce Peninsula

$    527,620 – Southgate

$ 1,049,306 – West Grey
