A foot chase by OPP has led to charges against a 15 year old.
On March 29th Grey Bruce OPP received a call of someone trying to break into a vehicle on Ridley Crescent in Southgate.
Officers attended the scene and spotted a masked individual who fled from police who was later arrested after a brief chase.
As a result a 15 year old from Toronto was hit with a series of charges including;
· Mischief
· Resist Peace Officer
· Obstruct Peace Officer
· Disguise with Intent
· Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
· Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
· Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
· Fail to Comply with Sentence
· Failure to Comply with Release Order – Other Than to Attend Court
· Fail to Comply wit Probation Order
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
