16 Driving on Closed Roads Tickets Given Out in 25 Hours

Saugeen Shores Police say over 13 hours on Tuesday, they handed out multiple charges on drivers who went past closed road barricades.

From 8:30am-9:30pm on Tuesday, police laid a total of 16 Driving on Closed Highway charges as well as 1 Careless Driving charge which came after a crash on a closed highway.

Police add other charges were laid including Failure to Provide Insurance, Driving the Wrong Way and Failure to Surrender License.

Saugeen Shores Police say to never drive on closed roads and allow plow drivers to operate safely and efficiently.
