A 19-year-old driver from Central Huron is facing charges for impaired driving and dangerous operation after a rollover last month that caused several injuries.
Emergency services responded to a pickup truck that rolled into a farm field on Maitland Block Road around 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 15.
The driver and five passengers were treated at hospital for various injuries, with one passenger sustaining serious injuries.
Huron County OPP say they spoke to the driver and determined that they had been consuming alcohol prior to driving.
The man has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for later this month in Goderich.
The involved vehicle was impounded for seven days, and the accused’s license was suspended for 90 days.
