1st Afro Caribbean Youth Culture Awards set for the Davidson Centre

The Municipality of Kincardine is partnering with the Bruce County Library, Bruce Power, NPX, KDSS, and the Grey Bruce Immigration Partnership, to host the first Afro Caribbean Youth Culture Awards.

The awards on Saturday, October 21st will celebrate Afro Caribbean youth living in Grey and Bruce Counties.

The ceremony will take place at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine from 6 to 8 pm. It will feature internationally recognized poet Dwayne Morgan.

His keynote will be “Inspiring Courageous Conversations”.

Registration for the event will open in September.

Youth can be nominated for an award online below.
