The top 150 senior mens golfers in the world are in Port Elgin taking part in the 2024 Canadian Mens Senior Championship at the Saugeen Golf Club.
Today marked the practice round with action going throughout the weekend. Amateur senior golfers across the world are taking part for a chance to win the Senior Mens Title.
Dave Middleton, Marketing with the event says with many different golf events across the area, this tournament is something unique.
“This is different, this is a Canadian championship. Completely free of charge, doesn’t cost you anything you can walk onto the Saugeen Golf Club and walk around with these golfers.” said Middleton
On top of checking golf action throughout the rest of the week, attendees can take part in silent and live auctions, live entertainment and games from frisbee golf, golf simulators and the Port Elgin Chrysler hole in one challenge.
