The Huron County OPP have charged a 22-year-old male of Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh after reports of an erratic driver behind the wheel of a pickup truck on Belgrave Road in North Huron Sunday afternoon.
Police on patrol were able to locate the vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated.
It was determined they had consumed alcohol prior to driving.
They were placed under arrested for impaired operation and taken into custody.
The driver faces charges of impaired operation, operation over 80 and danger driving.
The involved vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and their license suspended for 90.
