Make it 26 opioid alerts in 2024 with Grey Bruce Public Health issuing another alert following six suspected drug overdoses with one being fatal in the last 72 hours.
This is the 2nd fatal drug poisoning in one week.
The highly potent opioid fentanyl is the suspected drug in the recent fatal overdose and as one of the non fatal.
All six overdoses took place between November 29th-December 2nd in Hanover, Meaford and Owen Sound.
