The 2nd Kincardine Scouts have begun the Robinson Park rehabilitation project.

The Park was first gifted to the Kincardine Scouts in 1991 and since scouting re-started 3 years ago many have looked at this rehabilitation project.

Various projects for the park include trail repair for youth, a shelter building area for youth to practice scout craft, an outdoor meeting area, archery range and more.

Work at Robinson Park is being made possible with support from Canadian Tire, the Kincardine Legion, Kincardine Lions Club, Tiverton Lions Club and the Power Workers Union.

The 2nd Kincardine Scouts say they’re looking forward to becoming more active in the community as they grow their program and foster youth self-sufficiency, outdoor skills and community mindedness.
