3 hour parking will be taking effect in downtown Kincardine starting next year.
These new parking limits will be in effect on Queen Street from Durham Market Square South to Durham Street starting April 1st 2025.
Bylaw will be enforcing the new measure with random checks and blitzes instead of responding to complaints.
Currently the parking fine will be $50 if over 3 hours but the ticket can be dropped to $35 if its paid within a week.
$12,000 is being set in this years budget for new parking signs and legal fees needed to amend the bylaw.
