A 30 year old man is facing charges who assaulted police during an arrest.
On April 13th at around 8:09am South Bruce OPP received a report of a suspicious person who was acting aggressively towards a homeowner at a property on Highway 9 in Kincardine.
Officers arrived at the scene with the suspect then brandishing a weapon at police.
The individual was eventually arrested without an injury.
As a result a 30 year old of Kincardine has been charged with Assaulting Police with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and four counts of Failure to Comply with Probation.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
