A 34-year old male has been charged with first degree murder after Police were called to an apartment complex on 6th Avenue West in Owen Sound on reports of gun shots.
They arrived on Tuesday morning just after 1am to find a deceased individual.
The suspect from Owen Sound was arrested on Wednesday by members of the OPP Tactics & Rescue Unit.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing at an Owen Sound court.
The investigation is continuing under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, and involves the Owen Sound Police, OPP Regional Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Services, Regional Support Team as well as the Chief Coroner of Ontario.
