$340,129 Paid to Hanover for Hosting Playtime Casino

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has made its first quarter payment to Hanover for hosting Playtime Casino Hanover.

$340,129 has been paid to the town which since opening in February 2001 has received $23,088,512.

These payments are given to host communities based on a formula which is applied across all land based casino sites in Ontario using graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.

Since 1994, host communities have received more than $2.1 billion in non tax gaming revenue.
