A 39 year old is facing charges stemming from two investigations over break and enter and arson.
On June 25th at around 1:36pm, Grey Bruce OPP responded to a report an assault at Bluewater Park in Wiarton.
Police arrived and when confronted, the suspect became aggressive, yelling and shoving the victim to the ground but was not injured.
It was also learned the accused stole property from the vehicle before fleeing on foot.
Earlier in the day at 1:12am, a structure fire occurred on Bruce Road 13 in Oliphant with a wooden structure fully engulfed with no injuries reported.
As a result A 39 year old of No Fixed Address was charged with two counts of Arson, Robbery with Violence and Resisting an Officer.
The accused was held for bail, appearing in court today.
