5 Highschool Students receive $8,000 Bursaries from Dairy Farmers of Ontario

Caleb Peitz of Hanover is a graduate of John Diefenbaker Senior School who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical & Health Education at Nipissing University.

Five high school students, including 1 from West Grey, have been awarded $8,000 post-secondary bursaries from the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.

Locally the recipient was Caleb Peitz.

He is a graduate of John Diefenbaker Senior School who is enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical & Health Education at Nipissing University.

In addition to suiting up for the West Grey Warriors, he also plays lacrosse as well as volunteers and assists the local skating club.

Cheryl Smith, CEO of the Dairy Farmers says the bursary recipients are being recognized for their tremendous resilience, sportsmanship and leadership on and off the ice, as well as showing dedication to their studies and to supporting their communities.
