A local cyclist and environmental advocate says her bike ride to the Bruce Peninsula was an incredible experience.
15-year-old Eden Babbitt began her two-day 190-kilometre trek from her home in Lurgan Beach on August 18th and finished in Tobermory on the 19th to raise money for the Jane Goodall Institute.
Eden says the weather was incredibly hot when she was cycling and experienced some ups and down on the roads she traveled on.
Eden says she exceeded her initial goal of $1,000 and now has collected over $4,600 and was invited to the Institute to deliver the money in September.
