Thousands of homes remain without power this morning as a powerful storm ripped through our region yesterday afternoon.
There were reports of water spouts in the Port Albert area, heavy damage in Port Elgin.
Hydro One on their website is saying that power is expected to be fully restore to most of their customers by 6 this evening.
Many municipalities are advising residents to stay off the roads as crews work to remove fallen trees and clear any debris
OPP and municipal police also say emergency Crews are trying to reach people as soon as they can.
