Vaccine clinics to open ahead of passport mandate

Grey Bruce Public Health reported 4 new cases in the Region over the weekend.

1 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 2,304.

There are 26 active cases currently with 39 active high risks contacts isolating.

2 local active cases are in area hospitals due to the virus with 1 hospitalized outside Grey Bruce.

2,252 cases have been resolved.

For those who require vaccines before Wednesday’s mandate, there is a clinic scheduled for Walkerton Monday afternoon from 4 until 6 pm at the Walkerton Fire Hall.

The Nuclear Innovation Institute in Port Elgin is hosting a clinic on Tuesday afternoon from 4 until 6, in Wiarton on Wednesday at the Community Centre from 4 until 6 and in Hanover on Friday at the P&H Centre from 1 until 4pm.

There will be a vaccine clinic at the Ripley Fair this coming weekend on Saturday from 9 until noon.
