It was a rather peaceful demonstration by a number of people in Port Elgin who were against the province’s implementation of a COVID-19 passport over the weekend.

Saugeen Shores Police reported no arrests and no unruly behaviour during Sunday’s demonstration at Coulter Parkette.

Hundreds were in the downtown core protesting the legislation aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19.

There were similar demonstrations held in other communities.
