Huron Perth Public Health is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred around 3pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021 near Goderich.

The incident occurred on the Goderich Rail Trail between CP Line and McGaw Road.

The dog involved in the incident is described as a small to medium sized, chocolate brown in colour and possibly a spaniel mix. It was unleashed at the time of the bite. The dog was accompanied by a male, who had a second dog on a leash. That dog is described as small and white or tan in colour.

HPPH is investigating this incident to verify if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
