You can now report power outages to Hydro One by texting on your phone.
The company launched a new feature on Wednesday that will allow customers to report outages when they text to WATTS (92887).
The feature will also allow customers to receive texts back that will update them on restoration times and status.
According to a news release, Hydro One is the first electricity provider to offer this service.
