Stolen Motor Vehicle Recovered in Georgian Bluffs

Reports of a suspicious person on property result in arrest of Suspect on Outstanding Warrants and other Charges

The South Bruce OPP were able to recover a stolen automobile  thanks to an observant homeowner.

On October 27, 2021 at approximately 6:30am officers responded to a residence on  Inglis Falls Road to reports of a suspicious person on their property.

Police arrived and spoke to the individual. It was determined the person was wanted on outstanding warrants and the vehicle they had arrived in had been reported stolen.

A 27 year old male of Northern Bruce Peninsula has been charged with obstructing police, providing a false identity, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of a scheduled substance and failure to comply with a probation order.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody.
