There is a new company created to develop affordable housing and social service hubs.
The Community Renewal Company is an offshoot of United Way Perth Huron.

The Community Renewal Company will rely on generating revenue from business activities and social investment to fund their projects.
Erb says they wanted to move ahead with an organization that had the competency to move forward with major capital projects for the community.
He says they also understand that they need to develop a business plan to help them achieve their goals.
