The Grey Bruce Health Services are reducing the number of visitors to their hospitals.

That includes the Southampton Hospital.

There will be two visitors allowed per inpatient but the organization says they must be the same two people throughout the patient’s hospital stay.

Hours will be from 1 p-m to 6:30 p-m each day.

Grey Bruce Health Services say the changes to the visitor policy is due to the recent increase in the number of COVID 19 cases in the region.

The changes will come into effect this Thursday.
