The Nuclear Waste Management Organization have promoted two people on their executive team.
Derek Wilson (left) has named as their new Chief Operating Officer, a position that was recently created.
Wilson was previously the Chief Engineer and Vice-President of Construction and Projects.
Director of Engineering Chris Boyle (right) will take over for Wilson in his former roles with the company.
In a news release, President and CEO Laurie Swami says the moves are to put the NWMO in a position to be ready, once the location of the DGR has been confirmed, to launch the regulatory decision-making process and begin to mobilize work at the site, while continuing to operate effectively and efficiently.
