Local businesses will be flipping their Open signs on Monday.

It is the first day that places such as the Legion, dine-in restaurants, gyms, recreational facilities, and movie theatres can open for business since the Province went back to Step Two of the reopening road map earlier this month.

Basically, measures that had been in place before the shutdown will once again be in effect.

That means capacity at indoor facilities will be capped at 50 percent or 500 people whichever is less.

Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kieran Moore has said resident will need to learn to live with COVID once the restrictions are fully lifted.

Premier Doug Ford reiterated what Dr. Moore said during an interview with a Peterborough radio station adding his government is working towards that.
