Local Municipalities set to receive nearly $650,000 through Modernization Program

Funding can be used to Conduct Reviews of Local Service Delivery and Find Efficiencies in Operations.

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker announced that seven local municipalities are in line for a combined total of $638,647 from the Municipal Modernization Program.

The funds being provided include:

  • Arran-Elderslie
    • $87,616 Digital Maintenance Management Solution
    • $41,976 Digital Records Management Implementation
  • Georgian Bluffs
    • $69,451 Online Services Modernization
  • Grey County
    • $33,072 Digitization & Records Management Modernization
  • Town of Hanover
    • $190,800 Operations Work Processes Modernization
  • Northern Bruce Peninsula
    • $59,530 Digital Records Management Modernization
  • South Bruce Peninsula
    • $79,373 Asset Management Database Modernization
  • West Grey
    • $46,301 Intern for Records Management Modernization

The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is also set to receive $30,528 from the Third Party Review Stream for Digitizing of Building Permits Review.
