Huron County OPP appeared to have caught an intruder red-handed.
Officers were called to a Bayfield Road business in Goderich early Sunday morning around 2:15 after an alarm was activated.
They searched the premises when they encountered someone inside a storage area.
Officers were able to apprehend the individual but not before a struggle ensued in an attempt to place him under arrest.
Investigators found some stolen property in the accused’s possession.
A 31-year-old man from Goderich is facing charges and was held for a bailing hearing.
